I don’t know how a company can be highly rated enough that their score is 4.8 but out of the 4 most recent reviews, two of them are one star.
Something doesn’t add up there then ....it really doesn’t add up when the trust pilot rating system is based very heavily on recent reviews and gives them much more weight than old ones. For all that cove might do to be on top of these reviews or the customer issues behind them, they are not on top of making real changes behind the complaint. There is a big difference in making something right and repairing what was “ broken”
To that matter, there will be a future customer that reads through these reviews or sees that rating and says oh they’re rated 4.8 and there is another customer born into a contract that is missing the whole picture
How is a security company any kind of security worth its salt when the cameras they offer are from a totally separate entity, have no night vision or audio that works, and on top of the fee you pay to Cove, you’ve got to pay the camera company $10.99 a month for access to the footage and storage. I don’t feel very secure when I’m in my house and have no cameras connected to my system because I didn’t have a separate company from China with a separate fee in my budget.
There is no outdoor camera and when I first complained about this I was told, by the end of the year. well here we are in a time of pandemic and paranoia and political unrest and for some of us in major cities, like hearing Billy, riots and looting and violence have become the norm but you can’t really get a security system that does work when you’re stuck with the kitty version scam of a security company like cove
there is no integration between my electronica door keypad which when I signed up was my deciding factor. But the tech told me or a customer service agent rather told me there was fully integrated electronica door knob security through Cove it wasn’t true and that was how I made my decision offering up my credit card right there
Here’s a little known fact do you know that your hardware once you’ve paid for it can actually be taken to another company a lot of them will use your hardware on their system which is exactly what I plan to do at the end of this next cycle

4 star rating only due to the fact that…

4 star rating only due to the fact that it was not super easy to install. I had to spend 1 1/2 hr with an assisting agent to get everything ready. The system is supposed to have all sensors paired and ready to be installed but mine were not triggering. Therefore, the long installation process. Other than that, once I familiarized myself with the sensor installation it was very easy. The agent was super helpful. Equipment seems solid and easy to use.

I just received my equipment from Cove. I had a question, but had not made a note of my safeword. I chatted with Clay—he obtained other information to verify my identity so that he could answer my question. He asked me if there was anything else he could help me with. I said, no. End of conversation. But then I got to thinking, what am I going to do about my safeword? So I typed, Clay, are you still there? He was! He asked a couple of more specific questions to again verify, then helped me set my passcode so he could give me my safeword. Very patient. Very thorough. Very polite. Thank you, Clay!

Wow! Great Experience!

Wow, Jasmine diagnosed and repaired the issue with a helpful follow up call that makes me think that there's a least one person besides myself who still has a GREAT WORK ETHIC. Needless to say, nowadays that's VERY hard to find. A+++++ Great Job!!!

Switched from Ring to Cove

Switched from Ring to Cove after the astronomical "hided" fees from Ring. I have had nothing but success from Cove. It was easy to install, easy to set up, easy to activate, easy to pay for and easy on the pocketbook.
